S Hardisty Ltd was established in 1963. The company was set up to specialise in steam and gas fitting and boiler installation and repairs.

Over the last 33 years the company has gone from strength to strength in establishing itself as a market leading company with a wide client base. S Hardisty Ltd changed its name to Hardisty Engineering Ltd in July 2002 to have a better impact through advertising.

Hardisty Engineering Ltd is a well-known Hutt Valley based company that is a leader in its field of expertise.

The company is well known over the north island having worked on site as far a field as Auckland.

More recently the company has expanded and moved into bigger and more modern premises. This move has enabled us to set up an updated engineering workshop and a sheetmetal factory to compliment our already established engineering business. We also now have an electrical department to compliment the mechanical side.

We now employ over twenty staff who have a wide range of skills in all aspects of the engineering field. This expertise is put to good use giving our company the leading edge over other competitors in the industry in which we specialise.

No job is too big or too small for our company as we are keen to establish ourselves with all commercial and industrial companies who may require services in our field of expertise.

Our company is fully conversant with and complies with New Zealand legislation and all other national standards and codes of practice. We are fully aware of our obligations under the occupational health and safety act and comply with this as a minimum standard.
